SCI Applications are invited from Unmarried Male & Female Graduates In Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture for Recruitment as Trainee Marine Engineer :
1. Trainee Marine Engineer
- Qualification: BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture from AICTE Approved Engineering college. Equivalent degree or degree with specialization or electives are not acceptable.
- Age Limit: Maximum age limit 28 years as on 01.01.2013
- Medical Standard : Applicants must have good health & are to be fit for sea service as per existing MS Medical rules two thousand applicable to sea farers.
Selection Procedure: Eligible applicants will be required to appear in the All India written Test at their own expenses and only applicant qualifying in the written test will be called for PI in the ratio of 1:3 (3 applicants called against 1 post) keeping the provision of reservation for SC/ST/OBC & OBC Minority in view. SCI reserves the right to shortlist the applicants for written test also.
Application Fees: Rs.1000/- for General & OBC applicant’s & Rs.500/- for SC & ST applicant’s . Before filling online application form, applicants should deposit application fees in the SBI.
