Madhya Pradesh Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited, Jabalpur has been incorporated to undertake activities of distribution of electricity in the Eastern part of M.P. invites applications from the eligible candidates for appointment of A.E. (Electrical-Contract) as per the following detail :-
ASSISTANT ENGINEERS (Electrical)
01. RESERVATIONS :- The reservation for SC, ST and OBC category and Physical Handicapped persons shall be
applicable only for the candidates of Madhya Pradesh Domicile. Such candidates shall be required to submit a proof of Domicile in M.P State. For availing the benefits of reservation, the candidates shall be required to produce Caste Certificate issued by S.D.O (Revenue) of concerning jurisdiction.

02. CONTRACT PERIOD :- Two years from the date of engagement on contract. The contract agreement shall be terminated automatically after completion of contract period of two years and no further extension will be granted under any circumstances. The decision of the Company shall be final and binding in this regard.

a. Applications shall be received through M.P. online (www.mponline.gov.in) only. To go online, please log on to the website www.mpez-electricity-discom.nic.in to submit the online application format.
b. Application fee for Unreserved / OBC category candidates shall be Rs.300/- plus Rs. 60/- portal charges.
c. No application fee except Rs. 60/- portal charges shall be charged from SC / ST category candidates belonging to any state.
d. The application can also be submitted through MP Online Kiosk and the payment can be made in cash to Kiosk. The portal charges shall be Rs. 60/- per application for all categories.
e. No extra charge shall be payable for scanning of photograph etc. to Kiosk apart from the portal charges.
f. The reservation is meant for SC, ST, OBC and Physically Handicapped category candidates only having Madhya Pradesh domicile.
g. Forms are to be submitted only online through mp-online portal. No application by any other means shall be entertained.

04. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:- The candidate should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a University recognized by University Grants Commission or AICTE, with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in case of Unreserved or OBC category candidates and 50% in case of SC or ST category candidates.

EXPERIENCE:- The candidate should have minimum one year work experience in electricity distribution and management like survey, erection and commissioning of overhead lines,transformers etc. upto 33 KV voltage level and related works as being performed by the Company as on 30.06.2012. Application without requisite minimum experience shall not be entertained.
06. AGE LIMIT :- The age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 30/06/2012. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC/ Physically Handicapped, widow/diorcee lady candidates, ex serviceman categories shall get relaxation in upper age limit to an extent of five years subject to production of proof.
07. REMUNERATION:- The Assistant Engineer (Electrical – Contract) shall be engaged initially on a lump- sum consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 26,000/- per month plus Rs.500/- per month mobility allowance and Rs.500/- per month communication allowance. The honorarium may be increased by 10% after one year of contract period, depending upon the performance of the person engaged on contract. The minimum statutory employer’s contribution towards New Pension Scheme shall be exclusive of above.
08. TRAINING :- The selected candidate will be given one month induction training at Central training Institute, Nayagaon, Jabalpur. After completion of training, the Assistant Engineer(Electrical Contract) shall be subjected to a written test and upon qualifying this exam(min 50% marks) the contract shall be continued.
09. LAST DATE OF SUBMITTING ONLINE APPLICATION :- Applications can be submitted online only through M.P. online site (www.mponline. gov.in) up to midnight of 28.08.2012 Applications submitted by any other means will not be entertained.
