Qualification : Candidate should have first class or equivalent GPA in M.Sc/M. Sc. (Tech.) in Applied Geology/ Geology/ Marine Geology/Oceanography /Hydrogeology / Geochemistry /Applied Geochemistry /Environmental Science / Geoinformatics / Natural Hazards & Disaster Risk Management/Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geophysics / Applied Geophysics or M.Tech or equivalent in Applied Geology/ Mineral Exploration/ Engineering Geology/Petroleum Exploration/ Geoexploration / Exploration Geosciences/ Remote Sensing and GIS applications/ Geoinformatics or B. Tech/ M. Tech in Mining Engineering/ Mineral Engineering/ Civil Engineering. Prior knowledge of computer programming and basic hydrology is desirable. Candidates applying for the post should also possess valid NET/GATE qualification card.
Age : Upper age limit is 30 years. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates called for interview.
Salary : Rs.16,000/- per month (consolidated) + HRA
Nature and duration of post : Initially for a period of two years or co-terminus with the project.
