Odisha PSC, recruiting applications for the vacancy of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) in Class-II (Group-B) of Odisha Engineering Service under Department of Energy:

1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical)

• Total Post : 38 (13 -Women) {UR-09, SC-03, ST-11,  SEBC-15} Posts.
• Qualification : A Applicant must (a) hold a Degree in Electrical Engg. from an Indian University; or (b) be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers Electrical (India), or (c) hold a degree as enumerated in the Appendix-I of this advt.
• Age : Maximum 32 yrs

Application Fee  : A applicant is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.300/- for general + OBC applicants only.  Applicant belonging to SC/ST of Odisha only are exempted from payment of this fee. The Applicantes are required to take a printout of the finally submitted Online Application Form for future use and take a printout of Online Challan (Payin-Slip) for payment of requisite fee at any branch of State Bank of India . The Fee(s) paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee(s) be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment.

Method of Selection : (a) The selection of Applicants for recruitment to the vacancy shall be made on the basis of  career assessment, written examination and Viva Voce Test.

Pace of Examination : The written examination will be held at Cuttack.  It may also be held at Bhubaneswar/ Balasore/Berhampur/Sambalpur depending on the number of Applicants from the respective zone.

How to Apply : Applicants must apply online through the website http://opsconline.gov.in. Application form received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
