Educational Qualification and experience :
i). A Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii). Minimum 10 years experience in execution of civil works in managerial capacity in reputed private firms. OR
In case of persons employed in Govt. sector :
(a) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
(b) With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay in PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department OR
(c) With 7 (seven) years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay in PB-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre / department.

General Instructions:
1. The appointment shall be strictly on contract basis for one year which may be renewed annually depending upon the satisfactory performance.
2. For Sl. No 1 & 3, the retired persons may also apply. However the age must not exceed 64 years for them. For Sl No.1, the retired person should have worked at the rank of Asstt. Engineer or equivalent in state Govt./BSEB and for Sl No. 3, the retired person must have worked as Accounts clerk in the works division of RCD/BCD of the Govt of Bihar.
3. The remuneration for the retired personnel will be calculated after deducting pension amount fixed on the basis of their last pay drawn
4. The upper age limit (as on 1-7-12) for all the post shall be 50 years. (64 years in case of retired personnel)
5. The prescribed qualification should be as regular student of a full time course from a recognized university/Institute.
6. Wherever Grades are awarded in the Diploma/Degree Examination its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated in the application form as per the norms adopted by the University/Institute.
7. A DD of Rs.500/- (Five hundred) as application fee (non refundable) in favour of Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd payable at Patna to be sent alongwith application. GENERAL CONDITIONS
