BEML Limited - Manager / General Manager / Senior Manager

,manager (Metro Rolling Stock Interface)
The Candidate should possess preferably first class Engineering Graduate in Electrical, Electronics & communication from reputed Institutions / Universities.
The candidate should have experience in / as
• Metro rolling stock with sound knowledge of rolling stockaggregates,
• Project Manager in rolling stock activities in design / manufacture
• Interface Manager in interface signaling with rolling stock in Metro projects
• Awareness of high speed data communication system and Radio communication (GSM), PA
systems & Digital communication systems
• Good Knowledge of communication protocols – such as RS485, RS422, Ethernet and CAN
• System integration and testing of systems / sub sytems
• Indian Railway, UIC, IEC, DIN and other international standards used in rolling stock.
Candidate needs to interact with customer, signaling contractor, propulsion system supplier, PA/PIS system supplier, Radio contractor and responsible for interfacing of signaling with rolling stock & associated aggregates. Liaison with design team for sorting out interface issues and carrying out design finalization activity, and associate during testing & commissioning at site and resolve issues. Needs to work at site office, may have to relocate based on project locations.

General Manger (Finance)
The candidate should be Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant with good academic record from a recognized institution. The candidates should have relevant experience preferably in a large Manufacturing / Engineering Industry. Candidates with PSU work experience (Manufacturing / Engineering), knowledge of Computer applications and / or exposure to ERP environment (SAP-FICO) will be preferred.
Candidates should have proven competence in the areas of Finance Management and be
conversant in Treasury Management, consolidation & finalisation of Accounts / Internal Audit / Costing & Budgeting/ Pricing / Management of Receivables & Inventory. Incumbent should be capable of independently managing Financial Position. Candidate having requisite skills in computer applications / exposure to work in ERP environment will be preferred. Candidates those who had applied against the earlier advertisement (KP/S/12/2011) for the post of General Manager (Finance), need not apply again.

Sr. Manager / Manager (Design) – Naval Architecture
The candidate(s) should possess preferably first class Engineering Degree preferably in Naval Architecture / Mechanical discipline with good academic record from a recognized University / Institution.
The incumbent should have the requisite post qualification experience / exposure in the following areas:
• Basic design of Marine crafts, Dredgers, Tugs and boats etc.
• Familiarization of detailed Engineering for above vessels with respect to class /
administrative rules
• Familiarization of production Engineering / Shop floor drawings for dredgers, tugs, boats etc.
• To interact with class and admin authorities to obtain approvals from time to time.
• Exposure to cutter suction dredgers will be preferred.
• Knowledge of design office of a big enterprise will be preferred.
Candidates those who had applied to the earlier advertisement (KP/S/24/2011) for the post of Sr. Manager (Design) – Naval Architecture, need not apply again.

i. Only Indian Nationals may apply.
ii. Age, Qualification & Experience are to be counted as on 08.05.2012 i.e the last date of submission of the application.
iii. The upper age limit indicated above is for unreserved category. Reservation and age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC (Non-creamy layer) will be as per the Govt. of India guide lines. However, the upper age limit could be relaxed up to 55 years subject to equivalent years of excess post qualification experience prescribed.
OBC candidates** are required to submit Other Backward Class Certificate ('Non-Creamy
Layer'*) (Certificate in the format as applicable for appointment to posts under Government of India, is to be produced). OBC candidates are also required to furnish a self-undertaking that they belong to OBC (Non Creamy Layer) by filling and signing a self-undertaking.
[Note: ** OBC Candidates: Candidates belonging to those Communities which are recognized as a backward class by the Government of India for the purpose of reservation in services as per orders contained in Department of Personnel and Training Office Memorandum No.36012/ 22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 08.09.1993.
iv. Non- Creamy Layer : The gross annual income of parents of the candidate should not be more than `.4.5 lakhs in last three consecutive years in line with DOPT OM No.36033/3/2004- Estt.(Res) dated 14th October, 2008.']
v. Candidates employed in Government / Quasi-Government / PSU in addition to the ON-LINE application, should send a hard copy of the same through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of interview as on when called.
vi. Management reserves the right to relax age, qualification and experience as also to consider related qualification & experience in case of deserving/ exceptional candidates.
vii. Exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates could be considered for higher start & higher emoluments.

The candidates are required to ON-LINE only which is mandatory by clicking the “Apply ON-LINE” Link and after going through the prescribed guidelines and ensuring correctness of the data entered in the portal / form. The last date for submission of application by on-line is 08.05.2012, 17.45 hrs. Applications sent by post/ courier etc will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected (Except in respect of candidates working in Government/ Quasi Government / PSU etc) who are required to forward the additional print out of the application as stated at clause - xii of
the General Condition.
