      Applications are invited for the posts of :

(1)  PILOT-  06 POSTS ( 1-SC, 2-OBC, 3-UR)

       

Scale of Pay : Rs. 29100-54500  plus VDA & other allowances as applicable. The gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale is Rs.59655/-.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of a Foreign going ship, granted under M.S. Act, 1958 or equivalent.

Experience as Chief Officer on a foreign going ship or as Executive Officer in Navy.

Upper age limit:   Below 35 years   

          The candidate selected as Pilot shall execute a bond to serve Kandla Port Trust for a minimum period of 5 years on completion of probation period of 2 years.

(2)  PILOT-  09 POSTS ( On contract basis as per Terms & Conditions as         at Annexure - II )    

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of a Foreign going ship, granted under M.S. Act, 1958 or equivalent.

Experience as Chief Officer on a foreign going ship or as   Executive Officer in Navy.

Age limit:   60 years. Preference shall be given to Pilots below 60 years. Relaxable upto 65 years.

 (3)    MARINE ENGINEER  -  02 POSTS  (1-OBC, 1-ST)        

 

Scale of pay: Rs. 29100-54500 (The gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale is Rs.59655/-) for those with MOT 1^st Class combined certificate /
Rs. 20600-46500 (The gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale is Rs.42230/-) for those with MOT 2^nd Class Certificate plus VDA & other allowances as applicable

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:      First OR Second Class BOT / MOT Certificate of Competency as Marine Engineer (Motor) OR combined.

Upper age limit : Below 40 years.

(4)     SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER (SPECIALIST)- 02 Posts ( 2-UR)

Scale of Pay : Rs. 20600-46500 + NPA plus VDA & other allowances as applicable. The gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale is Rs.47380/-.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:   (i) MBBS degree from a recognized university (ii) a post graduate medical degree in General Surgery or Orthopedics from a recognized university (iii) Post qualification experience of 3 years in a hospital in the relevant field of specialization.

Upper age limit :  40 years.

(5)     MEDICAL OFFICER - 01 Post ( 1-PH)

Scale of pay:Rs.20600-46500 + NPA plus VDA & other allowances as applicable. The gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale is Rs.47380/-.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE : (i) M.B.B.S degree from a recognized university (ii) One year experience in a hospital, after completion of  internship of one year. Desirable: A post graduate medical degree from a recognized university.

Upper age limit:  35 years.

(6)     ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (FLOATING CRAFT)   

          - 01  POST  ( 01 - ST)

Scale of Pay : Rs.16400-40500 plus VDA & other allowances as applicable. The gross emoluments at the minimum of the scale is Rs.33620/-.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

(1) Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (2) Experience in maintenance of marine electrical installation for a period of 3 years in case of Degree holder and 5 years in case of Diploma holders OR Should have worked as Chief Electrical Artificer in Indian Navy

Upper age limit : 40 years

(7)  RESIDENT MEDICAL OFFICER – 01 Post (On Contract Basis as per Terms & Conditions at Annexure - III) Age limit : 62 years. Fixed monthly payment of Rs.30000/-.         

GENERAL  

Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in case SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and the period of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years for Ex-Servicemen and 10 years for physically handicapped candidates, based on the Govt. directives from time to time.

Several other benefits like Free Medical treatment for self and family, Leave Encashment, Group Insurance, HRA etc. as per rules, are available. Residential accommodation could also be made available as per rule in force.

The candidates should bring the application in the prescribed format (Annexure – I) preferably type/computer written giving full particulars regarding post applied for, name of the candidate, address, nationality, religion, whether SC/ST/OBC, date of birth, educational qualifications and experience, with a recent passport-size photograph duly affixed thereon and accompanied by attested copies of all certificates and submit the same in person to the SECRETARY, KANDLA PORT TRUST, GANDHIDHAM-KUTCH - 370 201 at the time of walk-in-interview.   Candidate already in Government Service or in Public Sector Undertaking must apply through proper channel.

          Only SC/ST candidates called for interview will be paid travel expenses equal to 1st Class Railway return fare by shortest route as per rules, provided they are not in Government Service.
