Eligibility Conditions: (i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH) or an equivalent grade at the Master’s degree level in Sociology/Social Anthropology from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from foreign University. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above conditions candidates must possesses NET/SLET and/or been awarded Ph.D. Degree in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Awards of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation, 2009.
