Essential
Qualification
a) Degree in Metallurgical Engineering / Chemical Engineering of a recognized university or its equivalent.
Experience :
a) Atleast 20 years of professional experience in a responsible capacity in a research/ academic institution or alumnium industry with significant experience in alumnium research, development and design as well as administrative
experience in guiding and training research and / or design works.
b) Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of alumina / aluminium technology including downstream processing and waste utilization.
Desirable : . Experience in the areas of Materials Science
Scale of Pay : PB–4 ( 37,400 – 67,000) + Grade Pay 10,000
Age : Less than 55 years Age and experience may be relaxed by the Search-cum-Selection Committee in case of candidates found otherwise deserving and competent.
