Qualification :

Accounts Officer – CA/ ICWA
Assistant Manager/HR – 2 years Full Time regular MBA with specialization in HR / IR with at least 60% marks
Law Officer-II – Full time Graduation with minimum 60% marks & Full time regular Graduation in Law with professional 3 years course with minimum 60% marks or five years integrated degree graduation in Law with professional course with minimum 60 % marks
Revenue Accountant/ Divisional Accountant – CA Inter or ICWA inter or M.Com with minimum 60% marks with one year post qualifications experience in Finance and Accounts.
UDC (Accounts) – Full time regular B.Com with minimum 60% marks.

AGE LIMIT : Age limits as on 1/1/2012 for eligibility for different posts will be as under:-
i) Assistant Engineer/Accounts Officer/Assistant Manager (HR)/Assistant Manager (IT)/Safety Officer- 20 to 37 years
ii) All other posts- 18 to 37 years
FEE (NON REFUNDABLE) : The candidate is required to deposit the fee along with the application as per the details given below:-
i) All categories except SC : Rs.500/- per Application
ii) SC category : Rs.200/- per Application
9. HOW TO APPLY :
i) Candidates are required to apply On-line through PSPCL website in English only. No other means/mode of submission of applications including manual/paper will be accepted under any circumstances.
ii) Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID.
iii) Candidates are now ready to apply on-line by re-visiting the PSPCL website and going to the option “Click here to apply online” under “Recruitment to the desired post in PSPCL”
iv) Fill up all the information desired in the form correctly.
General Instructions:
1. Admit card for written test, containing the details of the centre/ venue for the examination etc. will be sent to the candidates at their registered e-mail ID. The candidates are required to take a print out of their admitcard.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for the journeys performed for the written test/ document checking/ counseling etc.The candidate applying for more than one post shall have to apply separately,along with necessary fees.
3. Candidates are requested to mention their sub category viz-a-viz Caste in online application form.PSPCL has no mechanism to check the certificates as the candidates are applying online.
4. Only those Government employees, if selected shall be eligible to be issued appointment letters who are certified by the Head of the Department as not having any pending disciplinary proceedings or undergoing punishment under Punjab Civil Services
5. No service benefit of any nature of previous service rendered in any department(other than PSPCL) will be admissible. The selected candidates will be governed by PSPCL Rules & Regulations.
6.  In case the candidate fails to deposit the requisite fee, his/ her application shall stand automatically cancelled/ rejected and shall not be considered for further processing.

About the organization:
In exercise of the Power conferred by article -45 of the Articles of Association of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd.and all other Powers enabling him on this behalf, Governor of Punjab is appoint the following Chairman cum Managing Directors and Directors of the above Corporations with immediate effect. The appointment will be initialy for a period of one year from the date The Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) was a statutory body formed on 1-2-1959 under the Electricity Supply Act.1948. Subsequently with the re-organization of the erstwhile State of Punjab under the Punjab Re-organization Act 1966 this form came into existence w.e.f. 1st May, 1967. Starting with the modest installed capacity of 62 MW, the PSEB grew up by leaps and bounds with generating capacity 6841 MW as on 31-3-2009 from all sources, including share from Central Sector Projects. The Board’s gross generation during the year2008-09 was 38880 Million Units. PSEB operated its own Generation Power Plants and also got power as its share from BBMB.
